Quality assurance is defined as set of activities those are used to prevent built products from mistakes and defects for  providing quality products and services to the customers. Quality assurance activities analyze the software development process and focus on improving the process to be effective and efficient.
It ensures that product will perform well according to the customer expectations and requirements after delivering to the market.
